Shourajeet Chakravarty
Shourajeet Chakravarty, an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, commands proven litigation expertise across India's apex judicial forums, encompassing the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCDRC, National Green Tribunal, NCLT and CAT.

An alumnus of Symbiosis Law School, Noida (Symbiosis International University), he co-founded Chakravarty and Bhardwaj with Aprajita Bhardwaj.

Shourajeet is a seasoned litigator known for his structured, results-driven approach to complex and high-value disputes involving regulatory authorities and public institutions. He combines rigorous legal analysis with strategic foresight, particularly in matters where criminal liability overlaps with corporate, fiscal, and administrative law considerations. His practice is distinguished by precise statutory interpretation, careful examination of records, and disciplined courtroom advocacy, enabling him to effectively address multi-agency investigations, policy-centric enforcement actions, and intricate jurisdictional and procedural issues.

With over six years of specialized practice, Shourajeet excels in criminal law, economic offences, financial frauds, corporate malfeasance, white-collar crimes, taxation, revenue-linked violations, mining/ environmental infractions with fiscal dimensions, and regulatory enforcement and acts in matters related to anticipatory bails, custody contests, FIR quashments, and investigation referrals to central agencies. Shourajeet further holds deep understanding and interests in corporate and commercial matters.

His empanelments as Panel Counsel with the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC) and Northern Railways epitomise institutional confidence, enabling high-calibre representation of under-trial prisoners in criminal appeals/bail, alongside infrastructure, service jurisprudence, and policy litigations that demand operational acuity and outcome determinism.

Shourajeet has a demonstrated history of advising and counselling clients, orally and through opinions, on various provisions of laws related to the mining sector specifically related to lapsing of mining leases, illegal and unlawful mining, grant and execution of mining lease deeds, prospective mining operations and license and the penalties imposed in such matters, drafting petitions and replies to be filed before Revisional Authorities, various High Courts and District Courts, as well as the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Aprajita Bhardwaj
Aprajita Bhardwaj is an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and co-founder of Chakravarty and Bhardwaj, established in partnership with Shourajeet Chakravarty.

She regularly advises and acts on behalf of her clients in litigation before the Supreme Court, High Courts, as well as tribunals and commissions such as NCLT, NCDRC, NGT, etc., emphasising precision, integrity, and enduring client relationships across civil, criminal, constitutional, environmental, service, and commercial domains.

Ms. Bhardwaj has regularly appeared before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the various High Courts acting on behalf of her clients on issues related to Land Acquisition, Commercial Arbitration, Intellectual Property Right Laws, Mining Law, Criminal Laws, Taxation, as well as Corporate and Commercial Litigation. She has further advised clients on Corporate Restructuring, litigation strategy as well as pre-litigation strategy.

As an Empanelled Counsel with the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC), Aprajita provides exemplary representation in criminal appeals, bail matters, balancing high-stakes public interest advocacy with social commitments.

Ms. Bhardwaj holds a B.A.LL.B degree from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad (Symbiosis International (Deemed) University) and has also completed a distinguished criminal law program conducted by Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University. UK at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany.

Ms. Bhardwaj further holds expertise in corporate laws, spearheading Chakravarty and Bhardwaj's comprehensive services for businesses, corporations, NGOs, and entrepreneurs. These include entity formation, regulatory compliance, commercial arbitration, fraud mitigation among other related issues. She strategically integrates litigation prowess with proactive counsel to facilitate sustainable enterprise growth in a complex regulatory landscape.

Ashwani Kumar
Ashwani Kumar is a versatile Advocate and Policy Consultant who brings a strong blend of litigation acumen, regulatory insight, and institutional advisory experience to the firm. With hands-on exposure across civil, criminal, and commercial litigation, he advises and represents clients in complex disputes spanning service matters, RERA, recovery proceedings, financial enforcement actions, and regulatory challenges.
His practice is anchored in dispute resolution, corporate advisory, and compliance-driven legal strategy. Ashwani regularly assists clients with contract drafting and negotiation, risk assessment, due diligence, and enforcement planning, ensuring that commercial objectives are aligned with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. His experience before trial courts, tribunals, High Courts, and constitutional authorities enables him to manage matters involving multiple stakeholders and overlapping jurisdictions with precision and clarity.
Ashwani has served in key institutional roles with the Lokpal of India and the National Human Rights Commission, where he assisted and advised constitutional authorities on anti-corruption law, administrative law, service jurisprudence, and human rights compliance. His work has included examining high-stakes complaints, preparing legal briefs and policy documents for national and international forums, conducting spot inquiries, and assisting in matters pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
Known for his analytical rigour and effective advocacy, Ashwani excels in matters involving significant legal and factual complexity, particularly where public law, regulatory compliance, and private commercial interests intersect. His practice reflects a balanced approach, combining courtroom advocacy with strategic advisory, making him a valuable legal partner for corporations, institutions, and individuals navigating high-risk disputes and compliance-sensitive environments.

Sidhant Wadhawan
Sidhant Wadhawan is an Associate Partner with extensive experience in domestic and international commercial arbitration, public sector disputes, and complex commercial contracts. He has advised and represented clients across sectors including energy, infrastructure, government contracts, and regulatory disputes, with a strong focus on arbitration strategy apropos CPSEs contractual disputes. He has represented clients before Hon'ble Delhi High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal(DRT), Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), District Courts and Arbitral Tribunals.
He has previously worked with GAIL India Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, handling high-value arbitration matters, drafting and vetting complex commercial agreements, and assisting arbitral tribunals in procedural and substantive aspects of proceedings. His experience includes acting as a Secretariat in major arbitral proceedings of CPSEs, coordinating institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations, and advising on risk mitigation in large-scale commercial contracts. He has also served in legal capacity at Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Sidhant has also briefly served in a public law advisory role, where he assisted in statutory scrutiny and constitutional litigation, adding depth to his understanding of regulatory frameworks and governmental decision-making. He is a member of International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), MCIA (Mumbai Council for International Arbitration), FICL (Federation of India. Corporate Lawyers), and DHCBA (Delhi High Court Bar Association), and has published Articles on emerging arbitration jurisprudence in India.
Apart from the aforementioned, Sidhant is also a Certified Cyber Criminologist and has also worked as a Law Researcher with sitting Judge of Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
